Business Development Merchandiser - Field Based

Reed Brighton is delighted to be partnering with a renowned confectionary giant who are seeking a Business Development Merchandiser for their Brighton and surrounding areas territory. This is a full-time, permanent, field-based role where a company vehicle is provided. Monday to Friday (no weekends).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management: Call on grocery multiples within your territory, focusing on stock management, shelf management, promotional compliance, and relationship management.
  • Promotional Activity: Ensure all promotional activities within accounts are correct, including POS.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve added value targets, promotional, and planogram compliance as agreed by the national account team.
  • Planogram Compliance: Ensure all stores comply with centrally agreed planograms.
  • Journey Planning: Compile and work to journey plans according to appropriate call sequences.
  • Field Sales Administration: Manage field sales administration tasks efficiently.
  • In-Store Visibility: Deliver outstanding premium visibility in-store through relationship building and influencing in-store contacts/management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organisational, numerical and administrative skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
