We are now seeking a talented Class 1 Driver to join us at our Grange Park, Northampton depot, (with the flexibility of working from other Yusen sites) on a part-time basis, working on an annualised hours contract. This may be your ideal role if you are an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for part-time work.
Details of our annualised contract
- 12-month rolling contract
- Permanent positions with guaranteed annualised hours
- Flexibility of working around 20 hours, based on two days per week with the option of working more hours if necessary
This would suit someone who can offer the flexibility of working any two days out of the Monday to Friday calendar but be able to work more hours if necessary. Shifts start between 05:00 to 08:00.

The Role
As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will safely and efficiently deliver palletised products to other depots and distribution centres throughout the UK.
Working designated routes, you'll undertake route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
Please note, this role may occasionally involve supporting our other site nearby and will entail delivering household electronic items. This type of work may involve manual handling.
About You
To be considered for the role as a Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- A full, valid LGV Class 1 licence with a minimum of 12 months experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Good working knowledge of working time regulations
- An up-to-date DCPC Driver qualification
- A current Digital Tachograph Card
- A flexible attitude to working hours
- To be able to work collaboratively within a team environment
