An Accounts Assistant is needed for a temporary role in the leisure, travel & tourism industry based in Handforth. The successful candidate will provide efficient and accurate support to the Accounting & Finance department.

Description
The Accounts Assistant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be Hybrid working-3 days per week in Handforth office (near Wilmslow)/ 2 remote. Key responsibilities will include
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Vendor Ledger maintenance including statement reconciliations, processing payments & posting invoices
- Maintenance of Purchase Order system
- Balance sheet control with monthly review and commentary
- Process and system improvement
- Setting up and maintaining company reports
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
- Have previous experience Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger
- Ideally have experience of Bank reconciliation
- Be able to commute 3 days per week to Handforth office
- Be able to consider a temporary role initially
