A successful Chemical Manufacturer Near Knowsley are currently seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the Team. You will be responsible for the Laboratory testing of Raw Materials, In-Process and finished products. You will also be instrumental in new product launches and be involved in environmental compliance and improvement initiatives across the business.
Role Overview
- Conduct analysis using a range of techniques and instruments.
- Record , review and maintain Quality Data within the company ISO9001 QMS.
- Equipment calibration , troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
- Contribute to and lead meetings relevant to Quality and Compliance.
- Involvement in environmental compliance and quality related initiatives.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently conducting Laboratory Analysis, utilising a range of techniques (predominantly ICP , IC , Moisture Analysis & Titrations)
- Prior industrial working experience in a similar role, ideally using the instruments and techniques listed above.
- High level of confidence in the laboratory to work autonomously and the flexibility and desire to assist other departments within the business.
- As a condition of employment , it is essential that you are able to provide a DBS and 5 year referencing period.
