The role:
24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Driver for a client that we are representing in the Nuneaton area, on an ongoing basis. We are looking for experienced and reliable drivers, who are available to start immediately. This will be delivering single drops to various clients nationwide.
Requirements:
- Professional experience driving a HG V Class 1
- Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Maximum of 3 penalty points
- No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence
- Must be over 26, due to insurance purposes
- Minimum 2 years
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
Responsibilities**:**
- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 delivery vehicle.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
