Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Derbyshire, UK
Salary: £23,800 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Shift Pattern: 24-hour shifts, 1 day on, 2 days off)

They are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children Residential Support Worker to join our team in Derbyshire.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential home, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in the residential home.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, creating a safe and nurturing environment.
- Assist with the development and implementation of personalised care plans.
- Support children with their educational, social, and emotional needs.
- Manage challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and families to support the children's best interests.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous professional development.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- A full British driving licence for a manual car.
- Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Flexibility to work on a shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
