We are looking for an experienced Endoscopy Lead Nurse looking for a challenge to develop their skills and progress into a leadership role as part of a growing Diagnostics service.
This is a full time position 38 hours per week.
Based in Leeds
Salary Competitive and Negotiable DOE.
The Role:
You will support the Clinical Matrons in formulation and implementation of policies, guidelines, and protocols, thus ensuring we are adhering to best practice guidelines. The Endoscopy Site Lead will support the rest of the nursing team by way of mentoring and leading by example
Knowledge/Skills and Expereince required:
Essential:
- Registered with a professional body, such as NMC
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience), with evidence of recent professional development.
- Knowledge and experience of working within an endoscopy unit.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Basic IT skills and ability to work with online programmes such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams. SystmOne.
- Good time/resource management skills.
- Experience in co-ordinating a shift.
- Experience in conflict resolution.
Desirable:
- Previous managerial experience.
- Depth of understanding regarding JAG.
- Hold a mentorship qualification.
- Experience of working with IT platforms such as SystmOne, Medilogik
