Job Description:
As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the electrical components of a complex project focused on the design and build of student accommodation. Your role will involve managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closing. You will ensure that the project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Step in and take control of the electrical aspects of an ongoing project.
- Lead and manage the electrical project team, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee work and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, reports, and records.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Project Manager in the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and standards.
- Experience in managing design and build projects, preferably in student accommodation or similar sectors.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
