Our client is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join their team in Bridgwater. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking market leader, offering a competitive salary of £36,000-£40,000. As a HR Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient operational service to all areas of the business, providing first line advice and guidance to people managers. This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to work Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm.
What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Advisor, your role will be pivotal in delivering seamless operational services across all areas of the business. You will be the go-to person for first-line advice and guidance for people managers. Your ability to co-ordinate, attend and provide support for Employee Relations meetings will be crucial. You'll also be responsible for tracking data and using it to suggest innovative initiatives that drive continual improvement within the function.
- Work with and support the unionised workforce on site.
- Provide an efficient support service for HR, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Offer first line advice, guidance and coaching to line managers for all matters relating to the full employee lifecycle.
- Co-ordinate, attend and provide support for Employee Relations meetings as required.
- Take responsibility for the completion of people related changes, including changes to Terms and Conditions and Approval to Recruit.
- Track and provide data as requested, using data to suggest and implement initiatives.
- Champion and support group-wide processes such as working with Central Functions in job evaluations and grading.
- Maintain HR System holding employee information in timely and accurate manner.
- Partner with Learning and Development and line managers to support in the identification and provision of training and development needs.
What you bring:
As a Human Resources Advisor, you bring a wealth of experience in dealing with HR associated matters. Your understanding of HR legislation combined with your CIPD Level 3 qualification makes you an ideal candidate for this role. Your high attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, adaptability, resilience, positive mindset and commercial awareness will be key to your success in this role.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or higher.
- Previous experience working with a unionised workforce.
- Understanding of HR legislation.
- Proven experience advising on HR associated matters.
