Finance Manager - South Worcestershire - Full-time, Permanent - £40,000 - £55,000

We are recruiting for a Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Finance Manager to join a fantastic professional services business located between Worcester and Evesham. This new position will make you responsible for the business's internal accounting, producing monthly management accounts, and working closely with directors to support wider duties such as HR and IT.

About Our Client: Our client is a close-knit SME professional services business with multiple offices across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Herefordshire. This growing business enjoys an excellent reputation with both its clients and employees. We are working together to recruit a new Finance Manager to join their dynamic team.

About the Role: In this new position, you will oversee the business's internal finance functions, producing monthly management accounts and managing day-to-day finance operations, as well as taking on additional responsibilities such as IT and HR needs, managing supplier contracts, and handling ad-hoc projects. There will be a period of training to take on this additional task, so you do not need to have done them previously, but be open to them being a part of your remit.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and other financial reports
  • Managing the sales ledger and credit control
  • Handling VAT submissions
  • Providing commercial support across departments
  • Managing IT and HR functions

Due to the regulatory requirements of the business, you must be fully ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with at least two years of post-qualification experience. Ideally, you will have experience working in an accountancy practice as a trainee, client-facing accountant or internal finance manager.

  • Experience producing full management accounts
  • VAT submissions experience
  • Report writing experience
