HR Advisor

I am delighted to be supporting my global client in their search for a HR Advisor to join the team on an initial 12 month maternity cover! The successful HR Advisor will deliver a high-quality and responsive HR service. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships and embraces emerging technologies and new ways of working. The HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting their dynamic firm across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Day to day of the role:

  • Provide proactive, timely, and high-quality generalist HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Support the business in all areas of HR and employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Coach and guide line managers on a wide range of people issues such as talent management, engagement, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Support cyclical HR activities such as performance reviews, budget planning, and the annual reward cycle.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider HR Function to drive innovation and continuous improvement in policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Support the delivery of key people projects and other ad hoc initiatives as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong current generalist HR knowledge with the ability to manage and lead on a broad range of employment issues.
  • Confident and impactful stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial approach with sound judgement, good analytical skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable business partnering skills including coaching and influencing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to change and engage others.
  • Ability to build relationships based on trust, respect, and service delivery.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage different priorities.
