Location: Main Sites - Maidenhead, Reading & Croydon (May be required to attend other sites every now and then)

Job Purpose and Opportunity:
We are seeking a Regional Mechanical & Electrical Lead to provide important technical support for the operation and maintenance of key data centre systems and infrastructure. This role focuses on safety and reducing risks while maintaining high operational standards in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee high and critical mechanical and electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management.
  • Minimise risk and ensure compliance with established safe systems of work.
  • Serve as the technical lead for Data Centre Managers.
  • Review and approve change requests and oversee training programs.
  • Maintain compliance across multiple sites and enhance standard operating procedures.
  • Plan mechanical/electrical maintenance and document deferred maintenance.
  • Support energy management programs and oversee project collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Conduct asset lifecycle management and assist with CAPEX requirements.
  • Provide primary technical support for site engineers and management.
  • Ensure adherence to safety requirements and regulations.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Education & Qualifications:

  • Essential: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), formal electrical training, and a full UK driving licence.

  • Desirable: AP15 course, HV Authorised Person experience, and data center management certifications.

  • Experience:

  • Essential: Experience in a demanding data center environment, client-facing roles, and people management.

  • Desirable: Budget management experience.

  • Knowledge:

  • Essential: Understanding of data center services, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
