Quest Employment are working with a company that specialise in cutting-edge security and intelligence solutions, working with Government agencies both in the UK and globally to find an experienced Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to join their dedicated team.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Duties and responsibilities:
- Developing and designing electronic circuits for various applications
- Being hands on with the design, build and test of circuits
- Building prototypes and conducting testing to validate designs
- Working closely with software engineers and other team members to ensure hardware-software integration
- Working to deadlines and schedules
Experience, qualifications, and requirements:
- Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics
- Experience with analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Experience with multilayer PCB Design (DipTrace, Altium, OrCAD) would be desirable
- Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable
- Experience and competence with writing firmware desirable
- Low-power design experience advantageous
- RF design experience advantageous
- Self-driven
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
