As a Practice Bookkeeper, you will be an integral part of the team, handling a variety of bookkeeping tasks for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping: Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
- VAT Returns: Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Payroll Processing: Managing payroll processes, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Bank Reconciliations: Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Client Interaction: Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and address any queries they may have.
- Software Proficiency: Utilizing accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks.
Key Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within a practice environment.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and VAT regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
