A thriving Architectural practice in the heart of Leeds is seeking a passionate Senior Architectural Technician to become an integral member of their growing team. They are renown for the innovative, forward thinking, environmentally friendly designs, driven through their extensive expertise in sectors such as industrial, retail and leisure. They are dedicated to investing in the latest technology and research as to how they can deliver the best designs to enhance the lives of the end users. This RIBA Chartered practice have a couple of offices across the UK and have ensure a collaborative working environment where creativity can flourish.

The successful Senior Architectural technologist will have substantial experience working on a diverse portfolio of projects, leading a team, job running as well as proficiency with industry standard software.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology or relevant subject
  • Ideally MCIAT or working towards
  • Extensive experience in an UK architectural practice
  • Proven record of working at Senior level
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD or Vectorworks
  • Work well independently and in a team environment
  • Experience working on commercial and retail projects of varying scales
  • Produce detailed drawings and specifications
  • Utilise thorough knowledge of current UK Building regulations for compliance
  • Excellent technical abilities
  • Attentiveness to detail
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Job running experience
  • Previous knowledge of leading and managing a team
  • Innovative and creative approach to delivering design solutions
  • Keen to continue professional development and input to company growth
  • Working across project life span
  • Strong portfolio to demonstrate experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Live locally to the Leeds area
