Our client is highly regarded global insurance company and whilst the role is based in London they have an established policy of flexibility with office/home working. The role sits in the Finance department and it will be carrying out all aspects of insurance accounting for the UK branch. You will be dealing with some of the major brokers.
Key reponsibilities will include accurately processing all receipts/settlements/payments to the appropriate ledger, having agreed the items with the relevant third party, which includes brokers, co-insurers, reinsurers and other third parties; processing accurate technical entries/journals onto the appropriate ledgers, in order to ensure up-to-date accounts are maintained, including various inter-company accounts as well as those of third parties; producing various management reports and reporting on debt - good Excel skills required.
To apply you will have experience of working as a Credit Controller in the Lloyd's/London insurance market and a good understanding of underwriting policy construction.
