Reed Further Education are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Officer in Manchester.
Role: Quality Assurance Officer
Locations: Manchester
Hours: Full-time equivalent (37 hours, Monday to Thursday)
Contract type: Temporary (ongoing until end of August)
Pay: £25.00 - £27.00 P/H (Dependant on experience)
What the role entails
The role holder will work as part of the Safeguarding in Education Team, which sits within Education Quality Assurance and provide a key role within an area where the council has statutory duties, working with a range of organisations to ensure that they have appropriate policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety of children in their care. The role holder will have a caseload of new home educating families and work closely with families, colleagues and other agencies to assess the suitability of provision.
What we need from you
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- A teaching qualification (QTS essential)
- Safeguarding experience
- IT Literate
- Track record of effective teaching in subjects specialisms (core subjects ideally including English and Maths)
- Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
