Description

As part of this large team, as a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be working in a busy and varied role with end to end accounts payable duties and would suit you if you love a role where you will never be bored.

  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable including invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any invoice queries.
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Continuously strive to improve processes and efficiencies within the accounts payable function.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will already have gained experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk and looking for a role where you can thrive.

In addition you should be able to demonstrate :

  • An educational background in finance or accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
