Description
As part of this large team, as a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be working in a busy and varied role with end to end accounts payable duties and would suit you if you love a role where you will never be bored.
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable including invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any invoice queries.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and efficiencies within the accounts payable function.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Profile
To be successful in this role, you will already have gained experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk and looking for a role where you can thrive.
In addition you should be able to demonstrate :
- An educational background in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
