We have an exciting opportunity for a PA to the Headteacher to join a well-respected secondary school in the Rotherham area.

Position: PA to Headteacher
Location: Rotherham
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As the PA to the Headteacher, you will play a critical role in supporting the Headteacher by ensuring the effective and efficient running of their day-to-day administrative duties. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the Headteacher, managing correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
  • Organising and maintaining the Headteacher's diary, scheduling meetings, and managing appointments.
  • Preparing reports, meeting agendas, and minutes for various school committees and events.
  • Liaising with staff, students, parents, governors, and external stakeholders on behalf of the Headteacher.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Providing general administrative support to the senior leadership team when required.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a PA or in a similar administrative role, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A professional and approachable manner, with high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
