Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers.
- Resolve payment disputes and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credit transactions and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline credit control processes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit status, aging, and collections performance.
Profile
The successful Credit Controller requires:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of credit management and collections procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
