Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
  • Providing financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency.
  • Participating in special projects and financial studies as required.
  • Providing financial training and support to non-financial staff.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum FTE (£22,000 - £24,000 take home).
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + additional closure days on alternate bank holidays
  • 7.5% pension contribution
