Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
- Providing financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with financial regulations.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency.
- Participating in special projects and financial studies as required.
- Providing financial training and support to non-financial staff.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum FTE (£22,000 - £24,000 take home).
