The Role:-

As Associate Director of Research & Insight, your will be responsible for translating data into insight and telling the story to help customers understand the value of the product and why it is so essential in their everyday lives.

Key duties include:-

  • Identifying and outlining research & insight needs, using existing data and information, that will deliver high quality information that can be utilised by the commercial teams
  • Overseeing and managing a range of quantitative and qualitative research projects, leading on these and ensuring their successful execution
  • Utilising both primary and secondary research to tell the story behind the numbers and use this to influence senior stakeholders in the business
  • Identify trends and patterns from the research projects that will allow the organisation to make informed decisions that will meet the customer needs
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to promote necessary change to encourage growth
  • Coaching and mentoring across the wider team

The Candidate:-

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong research background working across both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and will be confident in creating, designing and executing research projects to meet the business needs.
  • To be successful in the role, experience working within social housing, with an in-depth understanding of this sector and the challenges it faces, is essential.
  • Experience in creating, designing and running research projects from end-to-end, with the ability to troubleshoot and ensure that delivery deadlines and expectations are met.
  • You will be someone who can naturally influence stakeholders, gaining understanding and buy in and promoting the work that you do internally.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team, so that you can be part of the future growth and development of this area.
  • Experience working both agency and clientside would advantageous.
