Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer

My client seeking a Quality Inspector with experience in an engineering environment to join their team, quality-critical precision machined components and assemblies. they are looking for someone with a proven track record as a Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct inspections of machined parts, adhering to tight aerospace tolerances.
- Perform First Off and Stage inspections of detailed machined components.
- Carry out Batch Inspection using manual techniques such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Height Gauges.
- Create and complete First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 standards.
- Ensure safe working practices at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven history of working within a busy sub-contract machine shop environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated with flexibility.
- Good knowledge of operating a CMM, preferably running PC-Dmis software.
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings, including Geometric Tolerances.
- Manual measurement and inspection of detailed machined parts.
- Inspection experience in a machine shop environment.
- Good knowledge of machining practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday from 07:30 to 12:30.
