We have a fantastic opportunity within a Construction business for a motivated and talented Bid Manager to join the team in the Southeast.
What will you be responsible for?
- Planning and managing the bid team comprising design, submissions, legal, procurement, estimating and any other departmental resources as required, to properly complete the bid and secure a project
- Understand and challenge technical documents relating to design, construction, legal and financial elements of a bid and to devise a strategy in such a way as to maximise the opportunity to win whilst paying regard to the cost associated with the preparation of the bid and negotiation
- Develop bid strategies to understand client needs whilst developing a strong relationship with them
What are they looking for?
- That you can demonstrate experience of either bid management of project management within a major construction environment
- Have a strong understanding of modern construction methods and how these can meet client needs
- That you're a strong communicator and are able to coordinate and drive teams to produce excellent bids
