Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager with a proven background in the motor industry, particularly in managing prestigious car brands and large volume operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, and exceptional leadership skills to drive the team forward. This role is pivotal in managing the Aftersales team, ensuring top performance, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Aftersales team.
Coach, motivate, and support the team to build long-term performance and career progression.
Monitor performance against targets and budgets, driving performance to ensure success for each site.
Analyse performance areas of weakness and implement targeted marketing activities.
Work towards monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, ensuring consistent achievement.
Maintain a supportive and clear communication style, providing guidance to help team members thrive.
Create a trusting environment to recognize and utilize individual skills within the team.
Experience:
- At least 3 years in a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager position.
- Solid Aftersales Management background, demonstrating high-calibre performance.
- Experience with large sites, prestigious car brands (e.g., BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar & Land Rover) and large volume operations is essential.
- Familiarity with systems such as Key loop/CDK is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence and motivate a team effectively.
- Methodical and logical approach to managing varying workloads.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in managing successful aftersales operations.
- Strong technical knowledge and industry experience.
- Leadership skills to drive team performance and individual development.
Salary: £70,000 OTE
