Project Administrator required for a brand-new role with a company based close to Newton Aycliffe. This is a family run construction business and the role has been created to meet the demands of a full order book and increasing workload.
The Role

Part of the role is general admin related, with duties including monitoring a busy in box, purchasing office consumables; creating correspondence using existing templates; supporting with fleet management - ensuring that all MOT's and services are done.
Along with this, there are more industry specific duties such as managing the database used to track equipment hire and reaching out to sub-contractors to request quotes for work. The successful candidate will also prepare project folders - both paper and electronic for all active jobs and compiling documents such as Programme of Works and Technical Query sheets.
Supporting the Health & Safety team is also part of this role, ordering signage, scanning, filing etc.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30-5.00
The Person
Applicants must be strong administrators with great IT skills. They must also be confident, organised and professional in their approach. The role would suit someone willing to learn and with a ‘sleeves up' attitude. The office is in a location that would make public transport difficult and so it would suit someone with their own transport.
Remuneration
£27,000 to £28,500 per annum.
