We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client Vertiv. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal components according to specifications. Description
Fabrication and Welding:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various welding techniques including MIG & TIG welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and detailed drawings to understand job specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools.
Quality Control:
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
- Ensure all fabricated components meet required standards and specifications.
- Perform quality checks on completed products.
Maintenance and Safety:
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Profile
Experience:
- Min 1 years experience as a welder/fabricator.
- Experience with MIG & TIG welding.
Skills:
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Certification:
- Welding certification is preferred but not required.
