Salary: Up to £38k - £50k plus car allowance
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, full time, permanent

Job Description:
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading FM client. This role will see you work on a variety of refurbishment and new build projects.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines, as well as providing business support to the Projects Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating the working relationship between the team and internal/external customers.
- Ensuring the completion of project reports and documentation.
- Integrating controls and milestones into plans and programs.
- Identifying business priorities and opportunities for improvement.
- Providing cost advice and support to the Billable Works Team.
Additionally, you will liaise with the Senior Leadership team to report on project progress, attend Risk Meetings, ensure compliance across Health and Safety, Sustainability, Quality, and other statutory requirements. You will also support change initiatives and identify alternative solutions.
What You Need To Do The Job:

Qualifications: HND/Foundation Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying.

Experience: Appropriate experience within the Construction and/or Commercial Property Maintenance industry.

Skills:

Experience in developing cost models, risk analysis, and management.

Preparation of proposals and tenders.

Dispute resolution.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.

Ability to manage a large workload across multiple projects.
This role is ideal for a competent Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to advance their career or an established Quantity Surveyor.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass SC Clearance due to vetting requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
