Are you an experienced Reinsurance Operations professional with expertise in Excess of Loss and Quota Share reinsurance? My client, a leading global specialist insurer, is looking for a skilled individual to join their dynamic team.
£65,000 plus bonus and benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Excess of Loss, Facultative, and Quota Share reinsurance contracts.
- Handle accurate calculation, reporting, and transaction of ceded reinsurance financials including premiums, recoveries, and treaty balances.
- Arrange payment of reinsurance premiums and settlements of adjustments and balances.
- Monitor claims, report recoveries, and resolve any reinsurer queries promptly.
- Coordinate credit and debit control for ceded balances to ensure timely settlements.
- Generate monthly reports for monitoring ceded financials and aged debt.
- Maintain accurate data entry in systems and support financial bookings for month/quarter/year-end.
- Assist with regulatory reinsurance returns and audit processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with reinsurance brokers and other key stakeholders.
- Support internal meetings, including agenda setting and minute-taking.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ceded/outwards reinsurance operations, specifically with Excess of Loss and Quota Share contracts.
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and excellent time management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- CII qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
