Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
- Communicate with clients via telephone, email, and other channels to facilitate debt recovery
- Monitor and analyse accounts receivable ageing reports, identifying and addressing discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities
- Provide timely and accurate reports on collections performance to the finance team
- Other Ad-Hoc duties
Profile
The Successful Candidate Requires:
- Previous experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of credit control procedures and debt recovery strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
