Role: Finance Business Partner
Location: Milton Keynes, Hybrid Working
Duration: 14 Months FTC

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join us at Scania Great Britain. In this role you will report to the Head of Business Control, providing financial analysis and guidance, as well as business partner support to our regional teams to optimise branch performance. We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong commercial partnering experience who can provide essential insight into business performance and alert management to changes in trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attention to detail - Undertake benchmarking exercises to identify improvements in branch performance and simulate the potential returns from achieving set targets.
  • Analytical - Compile and assist in the presentation of the quarterly regional report to our Executive team.
  • Stakeholder management - Undertake monthly business reviews with Branch Managers to drive financial performance and improve workshop and parts performance, stock control, cost control and cash flow.
  • Proactive - Provide headline reporting on branch performance and deviations to forecast and present to the regional management team.
  • Strong Communication - Effective communication and presentation skills both verbally and written.
  • Influencing skills – Provide analysis of trends relating to all areas of the business and help to influence and challenge future decisions.
  • Forecasting – Undertake business forecasting, budgeting, and annual market plan.
