Reed Talent Solutions are working with United Utilities on the search for Admin Support Officer to join a growing drainage team at their Cheshire site.

Who are United Utilities?

United Utilities, are proud to be an essential service provider to seven million customers across the North West. It is their job to bring three million households and 200,000 businesses clean, clear water and to take their waste-water away so the customers can simply get on with their day. Currently 5,000 employees are key to achieving their ambitious vision and plans and all work together to provide a great service to the customers.

Why join the Drainage Team?

The water you use, whether that's from your toilet flushing or from rain that comes off roofs and roads needs to be collected, treated and sent safely back to the environment. A changing climate, more extreme weather events and a growing population in the North West present challenges for how we manage your used water over the long term. We need to plan to reduce any effect on our wastewater services and the experience customers have.

United Utilities have developed a 25-year Drainage and Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP), which will set out a long-term approach for sustainable drainage and wastewater management across the North West and how they intend to make sure that the region thrives now and in the future.
