Role: Lease Accounting Manager
Salary: £75,000

Join my clients dynamic Group Financial Reporting Team as a Global Lease Accounting Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee lease accounting reporting, processes, controls, and software across our global operations. With lease values amounting to approximately £500M, your expertise will ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial practices.
Main Purpose of Role:
You will manage monthly reporting, support new acquisitions, maintain the control environment, and provide technical support to country accounting teams. This role includes the line management of the Lease Administrator team and a Group Lease Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate lease accounting.
- Maintain controls and reconciliations for lease transactions.
- Support lease data onboarding for acquisitions.
- Provide IFRS 16 technical support.
- Oversee Lease Administrators and a Group Lease Accountant.
- Approve and reconcile monthly lease data.
- Conduct monthly reviews of lease balances/costs.
- Support cross-functional projects and process improvements.
Requirements:
- ACA or similar qualification with 2 years post-qualified experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS 16 and lease accounting.
- Experience with accounting controls.
- Line management experience.
