The successful Management Accountant will take an active role in the monthly close process, assisting in the completion of management accounts and bringing together commentary for the group pack, supporting forecasting and budgeting activities and taking a lead in the yearly financial audit
The role will involve:
- End to End monthly close process - Journals through to commentary
- P&L preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Margin analysis
- Support the monthly reconciliation process for supplier invoices, escalate challenges and drive process change throughout the business
- Corresponding with suppliers to resolve account challenges
- Oversee payroll which is done through a third party
- Monthly KPI & management reporting
- Supporting Budgeting and Forecasting activities
- Presentation of the monthly results
To be successful in this role of Management Accountant we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- Part qualified accountant
- IT literate with Microsoft products knowledge
- Strong excel skills, ability to analyse large volumes of data using appropriate formulas and tools/techniques
- Ability to learn systems quickly; we use Sage, Affinity (Billing) and in-house CRM
- You will have both excellent verbal and written communication skills
