Sales & Admin Executive

We are working for a reputable Tour Operator, who are looking for an Inside Sales & Admin Executive to work alongside their Head of Sales & BDM, based in their Central London offices.

As an Inside Sales Manager, you will be the vital link between the Head of Sales, the Business Development team, and our key partners. Your main role involves providing administrative support, driving the company brands' USPs and awareness, and delivering on key sales objectives to help the division achieve agreed targets.

With a passion for travel, you will effectively connect with the sales division, key partners, and consortia to support and help drive the wider sales strategy. You will be the elegant and energetic ambassador of our brand values and ethos to our key partners, consortia and guests while staying connected to internal/external stakeholders.

The Job:

  • Serve as the primary administrative link between the Head of Sales, the Business Development team, and key partners.
  • Support the Head of Sales with scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing sales reports, performance metrics, and trading analysis for the Business Development team.
  • Engage and support key partners & consortia with trading analysis, override reports, marketing campaign delivery, and sales performance reviews.
  • Organise and facilitate B2B travel agent and B2C consumer events.
  • Organise and facilitate travel agent FAM trips.
  • Drive the company brand awareness across key partner accounts, becoming a key point of contact for day-to-day sales processes.
  • Strengthen relationships and achieve growth with key B2B accounts through regular contact and informative updates regarding their productivity and progress via focused analyses of Salesforce data; help when appropriate to encourage achievement of goals set.
  • With the help of sales leadership, deliver on the commercial terms (overrides) which have been agreed.
  • Communicate, facilitate, and measure ROI on joint marketing campaigns with key partners.
  • Support the wider sales team to ensure we maximise resources to achieve our overall targets.
  • Ensure that marketing collateral is utilised to its fullest potential; ensure that the brand has prominent placement in key B2B account agencies.
  • Help to optimise inside sales processes, ensuring efficiency is maximised across the division.
  • Organise, streamline, and support in issuing weekly and monthly reports to the internal sales team to ensure they have the tools to deliver on their objectives

The person:

  • Detailed, fun, and results-driven individual who can work well within a fast-paced and energised team.
  • Previous role with demonstrated sales support and administrative experience.
  • Proven knowledge and experience within the travel industry with B2B experience preferred.
  • Familiarity, understanding, and the ability to support account management and skills required to work with remote teams.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal - and proof of being an organised individual.
  • An understanding of the company experiences and culture.
  • Ability to multitask and deliver on differing objectives and responsibilities.
  • Experience in arranging or organising events preferred.
  • Capable of providing compelling, comprehensive, and informative reports to wider teams.
  • Confident problem solver who can support and communicate with key accounts.
  • Able to understand issues and their underlying causes, apply additional information and feedback quickly, and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Able to deal with others in a straightforward and honest manner, be accountable for actions, maintain confidentiality, and support company core values.
  • Able to support change, encourage innovation and innovative ideas, handle pressure, adjust to meet changing needs, and handle conflict effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel), Salesforce, LCD/data projection, Internet, and webinar applications. Ability to make effective use of web tools and in-house technical resources, adapt to new technology, learn new programs quickly, and use computers to improve productivity.
  • Some flexibility in working hours will be required when organising and facilitating events outside of office hours.

The package:

  • A salary of £30,000
  • Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 from home
