Accounts Senior - Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich Location
Hybrid Working + Flexitime hours

This is a refreshing opportunity within a general practice accountancy firm to help develop junior members of staff and take your first steps into management. The firm has a strong reputation in the area and is arguably the most successful accountancy firm in the local area. They have recently been part of an exciting acquisition of a smaller firm. With a refreshing approach to accountancy, you will be trusted to work with your clients and deliver on time. You will be working within a friendly, talented team and you'll help to develop juniors whilst working closely with the Directors and senior stakeholders.
The Firm:
- Largest General Practice with HO in Bury St Edmunds with exciting expansion plans over the next 12 months. Can be based in Bury St. Edmunds or Ipswich
- hybrid working (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
- Open plan, modern office, with multiple office locations across East Anglia
- Due to ongoing success they have recently merged with another Chartered Accountancy Firm

The Role:
- General practice firm which allows everybody to work collaboratively, learning and enhancing their skillset in multiple areas of the business
- 25% Audit focus amongst other duties
- Must come from a practice background to hit the ground running with the type and size of clients and services offered
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Progression opportunities to help guide you on your way to management level and beyond
- Extensive and varied client base, mostly made up of owner managed businesses
