Denholm is delighted to be working with one of Scotland's most exciting and inspirational strategic brand and communications agencies, who are looking for their first full-time Marketing Manager to join a rapidly growing team.

Right now, thanks to a growing and diverse portfolio of global clients - many of which are operate in a regulated environment - this innovative agency is in need of a skilled B2B Marketing Manager to take them and their marketing/brand activities to the next level.

Working alongside internal teams, you'll play a key role in building the brand, strategy, and execution in order to fulfil key company objectives. Above all, you'll share the agency's values of precision, curiosity and agility to build strong and enduring consultative relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied role and one you can make your own, with some of your main responsibilities being to:

  • Understand positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish.
  • Analyse customer insights, B2B trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to ensure marketing strategy is fit-for-purpose and delivering results.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting and extract key insights.
  • Responsible for preparation and delivery of the agency's marketing plan across all channels, including events, social media, thought leadership, personal brand for the agency founders, and more.
  • Manage and produce content to support onboarding/development of clients, sales collateral and so on.
  • Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction within the team across marketing deliverables/assets - editorial, motion, design, etc.
  • Regular presentation of ideas and deliverables around marketing activity and budget requirements.
  • Gather client and market insights to inform strategy, with the aim to generate more qualified leads and retain and grow current client base.
  • Ensure the coherence and relevance of communications and messaging.
  • Identify effectiveness/impact of marketing initiatives and optimise for future campaigns.
  • Proofread, edit and write copy - in particular social posts.

Who we're looking for

  • 2+ years Marketing Agency experience.
  • A solid understanding of project management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactivity and dynamism.
  • Ability to successfully coordinate a variety of projects across multiple clients.
  • Great creative and editorial eye - ability to understand brand, clients, and how to say the right things, in the right ways, at the right times.
  • An accurate and systematic approach to work - excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player - comfortable in a creative agency environment.
  • Proven success developing and delivering marketing plans and campaigns.
  • The ability to present a professional image of the agency.
