The role: To handle the collection of rent, rates, insurance and service charge arrears for a large commercial client. This role will be working in a wider Credit Control team.
Duties:
- Timely collection of rent, service charge and other debts from tenants.
- ???????Manage and maintain a ledger of circa 2000 tenants across a number of clients.
- Handle the regular contact with tenants, via telephone and email, and chasing payment of outstanding debts until settlement is received.
- Liaising with surveying and client accounting colleagues, to resolve any tenant disputes.
- Updating tenant information on the database as appropriate.
- Assisting the cashiering team in the correct allocation of monies received,
- Issue all demands
Requirements:
- Prior credit control experience in property - residential or commercial
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be proactive and commercially astute
- Have the ability to manage your own work load
