About The Company
They are the UK's leading supplier of concrete equipment, and are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Construction Plant / Electrical Fitter to join their friendly team. As a Plant / Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of machinery including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, concrete batching plants and other heavy construction plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on heavy plant machinery - both mechanical and electrical.
- Conducting regular servicing and maintenance checks.
- Carrying out inspections and testing to ensure equipment is safe to use.
- Identifying spare parts as necessary.
- Wiring control panels, reading electrical diagrams.
- Maintaining, servicing and repairing general hydraulic systems and diesel engines.
- Working both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Plant / Electrical Fitter.
- Must have knowledge and experience of 12/24v and 3 phase electrical systems.
- Knowledge of heavy plant machinery and their components.
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable using IT equipment.
