HRGO are currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Manager role for a really exciting role in Leeds, for one of the most prestigious Marketing Agencies in the North. Applicants for the Ecommerce Manager need to have 5 years experience, ideally in a similar agency role.

  • Work according to the "annual strategy" and the day-to-day trading plan.
  • Coordinate internal teams to deploy cross-channel campaigns.
  • Manage internal resources to ensure daily management of the websites, including banner and content changes, visual merchandising, product and offer setup, and optimisation.
  • Identify, brief, and test web development tasks to deliver new features and functionality and optimise website performance, e.g., UX, assets, merchandising, apps. Produce e-commerce channel P&L production.
  • Spot digital opportunities proactively and produce strategic recommendations.
  • Analyse Google Analytics to shape strategy.
  • Produce and circulate daily trading reports and monthly performance reports.
  • Conduct the weekly competitor audit.
  • Ensure web design and build projects run smoothly, efficiently, on budget, and on time. Police and enforce the Development Workflow Process.
  • Support the development team and act as the conduit between them and the client services team on development projects.
  • Audit a client's digital operations (using multiple tools and resources) to conduct a SWOT analysis that will ultimately result in strategic recommendations.

Key Skills:

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of core digital marketing channels: email marketing, paid search, display advertising, social media, and affiliate marketing.
  • Experience in website design and build processes within open-source platforms like Shopify & WordPress.
  • Proficient with social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram for business purposes.
  • Excellent writing and language skills - articulate and adaptable to convey the intended message.
  • Numerate and comfortable with data manipulation to produce reports and insights using Microsoft Excel.
  • Capable of forward-planning and prioritising workload based on business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills.
