Location: Croxley - Hertfordshire

Contract Details: Permanent, Fully On-Site

Salary: £45K - £50K per annum

About Our Client:

Our client, a leading organisation in the Print Systems Division, is seeking an experienced Italian & Spanish Speaking Product Support Engineer to join their team. As a remote triage engineer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing technical support and assistance. With a global reach, you will have the opportunity to work with customers from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer customer support and confirmation for parts orders
  • Perform initial technical support to customers and identify symptoms
  • Work in collaboration with internal teams to identify the correct parts for customers
  • Order necessary parts and organise their shipment
  • Coordinate field despatch of engineers to implement corrective actions
  • Escalate technical issues internally when necessary
  • Complete all necessary case details and document accurately in the service system
  • Work within a shift rotation, including on-call rotation

Essential Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Previous extensive experience and in-field knowledge as an Inkjet field service technician
  • Good knowledge of the print industry and processes
  • Fluent in multiple languages, with English being mandatory
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with the ability to work under high pressure
  • Proficiency in reading electrical and fluid schematics
  • Ability to logically work through fault finding in a pragmatic manner
  • Proficient in computer-based applications such as SAP and Acrobat

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Good knowledge of Inkjet systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical knowledge of inkjet technology
