Equifind is supporting a global wealth management group based in the City of London in recruiting a Head of Group Reporting & Business Partnering.

The ongoing need to bridge the gap between the Group and their overseas entities has led to the creation of a role to oversee all reporting and international business partnering activities. Reporting directly to the dual CFO/COO, this position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking to drive positive change and enhance efficiencies.

What will I be doing?

  • Support the overseas regions in the production of annual budgets and forecasts, working with the FP&A team in the UK and in accordance with group timelines.
  • Ensure overseas entities are sufficiently funded by appropriate mechanisms where required and coordinate the payment of dividends to group.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the overseas businesses including country and regional CFOs and Finance teams, as well as stakeholders in the wider business including senior leadership.
  • Oversee cash flow reporting including the preparation of suitable forecasts and other analysis.
  • Actively contributing to strengthening of the Finance team and identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and analysis.
  • Management of a small team of accountants including training, development, and recruitment when needed
  • Oversight of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process and consolidation of the overseas entities

What do I need to apply?

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • At least 7 years of post-qualified experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP
  • Advanced-level Excel skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent report writing and able to confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in preparing management account and key performance data
  • Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills
