Electrical Team Leader

A position has arisen for an Electrical Team Leader within a highly regarded organisation based in Buckinghamshire on a temporary – permanent contract. This role is responsible for supporting the Electrical trades operations and maintenance work across the sites.
Your duties will include:
- Deputising for the Electrical Manager regarding line management of the electrical operational staff
- Supervising trade works applicable to electrical disciplines, i.e. HV/LV extra LV, lighting/emergency lighting, fire safety systems, lifts etc
- Assisting with the recruitment and selection of staff
- Managing the completion all report sheets and test certificates as necessary
- Supervising works carried out in hazardous areas taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment
- Ensuring risk assessments are completed as appropriate
- Reviewing, devising, implementing and rolling out planned maintenance (PPM) tasks and emergency works
- Planning maintenance activities, (including staff rota's and overtime works) allocating staff and physical resources
- Operating the Trusts labour control scheme, including completion of all paperwork required of the scheme. (Including completion of all job dockets and time sheets)
The successful candidate should have:
- You must have previous experience of working within commercial environments
- You must have technical maintenance knowledge
