Salary: £31,000 - £35,500 plus benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Admissions and Enrolment Manager to join a reputable higher education establishment and become a member of Registry department. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of £31,000 plus benefits. As the Admissions and Enrolment Manager, you will oversee a team of Admissions and Enrolment Administrators, ensuring the delivery of a highly effective and efficient admissions service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and enhancement of the admissions service.
  • Process applications, organize interviews, conduct fee assessments, manage confirmations and clearing, and oversee induction and registration/enrolment.
  • Monitor student recruitment through the compilation and production of regular admissions reports.
  • Support the Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to Home Office legislation related to student visas.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal departments, including Schools and Professional Services.
  • Ensure all admissions-related regulations, policies, and procedures are current, align with sector best practices, and incorporate any legislative changes.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date international qualification equivalencies for accurate and consistent admissions decisions.
  • Represent the institution at national meetings, conferences, open days, outreach, and recruitment events as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communications team and course teams to achieve institutional goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment is essential.
  • Experience with admissions processes, including knowledge of UCAS procedures.
  • Proven ability to line manage a small team.
  • Demonstrated experience in devising, organizing, and managing effective administrative processes.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
