Butler Rose is recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing and highly successful business in Ashby-De-La-Zouch.
Reporting into a supportive Finance Director, this role will lead a small finance team to ensure its smooth running from both a budgeting and forecasting perspective as well as statutory returns.
Key duties will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Reporting of KPIs to relevant internal stakeholders
- Involvement in the annual budget process
- Budget review with various budget holders across the business
- Quarterly VAT return submissions
- Dealing with multi-currency
- Liaison with external auditors
- Financial planning & analysis to support business decisions
- Use of company ERP system
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with strong communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload. You will be driven to succeed and take a real pride in your work.
