Formulation Chemist/Laboratory Technician

My client is an international chemical manufacturer, specialising in the production of cleaning products. They are currently looking for an experienced formulation chemist or a laboratory technician who would support the formulation team.
Formulation Chemist - Main duties:
- Create and assist with the formulation and development of new chemical products
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and requirements and offer advice and guidance to them
- Carry out product formulation techniques such as surface chemistry analysis, rheology testing, dispersion techniques amongst many others
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders delivering updates on projects and workloads
Formulation Chemist - Skills/Experience required:
- Minimum of a degree qualification in a Chemistry related field
- Chemical formulation experience is essential – ideally cleaning products but there is flexibility with the product range
- Analytical mindset – with the ability and confidence to guide and educate customers
- Desirable - compliance knowledge/experience
Laboratory Technician – Main Duties:
- Provide support to the formulation team
Laboratory Technician - Skills/Experience required:
- Minimum of a degree qualification in a Chemistry related field
- Professional experience working in a laboratory environment
- Understanding of formulation chemistry
- Flexible working attitude - including the ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Desirable - compliance knowledge/experience
