Our client is a travel business at a very exciting point in their journey - last year they tripled revenues, this year they have doubled, and they have some very strong forecasts for the future. They are a young business in growth phrase and have a unique product that is proving to be extremely successful. They are now looking for a talented Marketing Manager from the travel industry to lead and expand their marketing efforts for luxury self-guided driving tours. This role is crucial to driving growth and increasing brand presence in key international markets.

Marketing Manager - What Will I Be Doing?

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a marketing strategy focused on achieving significant growth, particularly in the North American inbound market.
  • Team & Budget Management: Build and manage a marketing team, oversee the annual budget, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Brand & Content Leadership: Drive content strategy and PR efforts to enhance the brand's appeal to discerning customers and collaborate on new product launches and targeted campaigns.

Marketing Manager - What Experience Do I Need to Have?

  • It is essential that you have solid experience in digital marketing - preferably from the travel industry.
  • You will be a multi-skilled marketing specialist with a deep understanding of their customers' travel-based expectations, preferences and behaviours.
  • It is essential that you have experienced in modern digital marketing strategy, tactics and tools.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.

What Else Do I Need to Know?

This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the company's marketing strategy and contribute to their mission of creating unforgettable travel experiences. This is currently a small business, so everyone in the company needs to be prepared to be agile and happy to help in all areas if required. We will consider full time and part time applicants for this role and the salary will be dependent on experience. Whilst the main office is in Yorkshire there is the ability for this person to be based fully remotely in the UK if you are prepared to travel to the office regularly for meetings.
