Business Development Manager

The Client:
Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm, providing wide range of electronics manufacturing solutions including box & panel build, custom cable assemblies and more.
The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will acquire new strategic business from potential customers for full range of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).
Responsibilities:
- Participate in NPI and contract review meetings to introduce new business opportunities.
- Utilise EES for processing and quoting customer inquiries.
- Engage in audits as needed (internal, customer, and certification).
- Collaborate closely with Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations departments on technical, material, quality, or production issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role.
- Previous experience in technical sales within electronics manufacturing.
- Understanding of primary suppliers for cables, components, and PCB materials.
- Ability to understand drawings and interrogate customer BOM's.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word & Excel).
- Ideally have a proven track record in Contract Electronics Manufacturing (CEM).
- Familiarity with MRP software would be beneficial.
- Valid UK driving licence.
