Academics is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team on a long-term supply basis in Fleet, Hampshire. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social development.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
- Supervise students during break times and off-site activities as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and with students of varying abilities.
