Reconciliation Clerk

Your new company

Hays are pleased to be working with a large company within the local area, who are looking for some interim support with a project.

Your new role

The business are looking at someone to join on an interim basis and assist in end to end reconciliation for 5 different group companies.

Duties:

  • End to end reconciliations
  • Working on complex spreadsheets on Excel
  • Sage 200
  • Process journals on to general ledger
  • General reporting for management highlighting any areas for concern
  • Continually monitor any banking and cash discrepancies
  • Liaise with other departments such as sales/purchase ledger to ensure invoices and remittances are accurate
  • Query resolution

What you'll need to succeed

You will have good Excel skills and knowledge of SAGE 200/50. Looking for an individual who has worked on a similar project/role previously. You will be able to hit the ground running and ensure that you are proactive and can communicate and work well within teams/departments, liaising with the support of the wider finance function.
